5th multEE Partner Meeting

In view of the upcoming multEE final conference, the multEE Consortium is meeting in Berlin on 16-17 March to discuss the progresses of the project, the current findings, new cooperations and participation at EE related events, as well as the final steps before the closing of the project.

Workshop on the SMiV system and coordination mechanism in Croatia

The 2nd national workshop held by the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar brought together different stakeholders to discuss their interests, needs and priorities in energy saving's monitoring and verification. Particular attention was also given to potential improvements of horizontal and vertical coordination mechanisms between different institutions and stakeholders and to the upgrade of the System for Measurement and Verification (SMiV) that, in the last year, measured and verified more than 1 PJ of energy savings in Croatia.

Workshop on country specific calculation values in Greece

CRES organized the 1st workshop for the specification of the country specific calculation values for the developed bottom-up methodologies, which will be utilized for the estimation of the achieved energy savings. The discussion was held within the framework of the design of the energy efficiency obligation scheme in Greece according to the requirements of the Article 7 of the EED.

Workshop on calculation values in Slovakia

This workshop was the first of a series of events organised within the multEE project.

Energy efficiency measures, monitoring of energy, energy audits, bottom – up approaches, and regular valuation of EE measures were at the core of the workshop. The multEE project, its activities and interim outcomes were introduced to the audience. Participants discussed a series of best practice examples for M&V schemes and coordination mechanisms, as well as the monitoring of energy consumption in public building and regular evaluation of EE measures.

multEE welcomes the COOPENERGY project in Sarajevo

On 14 June 2016, Tania Molteni, guest speaker from the collaborative project COOPENERGY and researcher at Bocconi University in Italy joined the 3rd Partners’ Meeting of the multEE project in Sarajevo. Ms Molteni’s presence aimed to increase learning and exchange of experience between projects with a similar focus. During her talk, she addressed the importance of multi-level governance for sustainable development.
