On 8 March, during the Concerted Action Energy Efficiency Directive (CA EED) parallel workshops, Benjamin Struss (multEE project coordinator, GIZ), Christos Tourkolis (CRES) and Dean Smolar (CEI), will present insights on the multEE project’s potential contribution to monitoring of obligations from Article 7 of the EED.

After a general introduction of the project results on behalf of Benjamin Struss, Dean Smolar will explain how the System for Monitoring and Verification (SMIV) is applied in Croatia and it is used for the monitoring of Article 7. A different example of MVP implementation, this time from Greece, will be presented by Christos Tourkolias.

The Concerted Action for the Energy Efficiency Directive (CA EED) was launched in spring 2013 in order to support the effective implementation of the Energy Efficiency Directive (2012/27/EU). The CA EED is financed under the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme of the European Commission and benefits from a strong European network and a wealth of information gathered and lessons learned.
